This spacious 4 bedroom 5 bathroom villa, with 2 story floor plan, is perfect for families or large groups of up to 8 people. In this villa you have several different outdoor spaces to choose from, a beautiful private pool, ocean and jungle views, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and large dining table. Here you can relax beside the pool, with an amazing ocean view that has the most spectacular sunsets or you can take an adventure off into the jungle or a walk or horseback ride along the beach. If you’re lucky you might even see some of the monkey’s, toucans and other wildlife that inhabit the jungle on The Reserve. Our Villa is located in the heart of Playa Hermosa, a sleepy little surfing town. Here you can discover the easy going lifestyle that locals like to call, Pura Vida. Just 4.5 miles from the town of Jaco (pronounced hah-Ko) and 90 minutes from the city of San Jose, guests return year after year to relax and recharge in our luxury Villas. The Villa
Our modern luxury Villa was designed by award winning local architects. With 5000 square feet of space, and top of the line amenities, including a pool with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean you’ll have plenty of room to relax and unwind. All of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms as well as a poolside bathroom. The home was designed with walls of glass to allow you to take in the breathtaking views of the Jungle and Ocean while indoors. Each bedroom has it’s own TV with cable, air conditioning, and room darkening drapes and shades for maximum comfort. At the end of your day, relax and slip into the cool and soft luxury sheets and comforters that make up our beds. Organic luxury shampoos, body wash, and soft towels are in every bathroom along with we provide pool towels in every room for your use. Our kitchens are fully equipped whether you wish to cook a new local recipe you learned or your own personal favorites.
After an eventful day, relax alongside the pool and take in one of the many amazing sunsets you’ll see here, take a refreshing swim under the stars or take a walk on the garden grounds. Come stay with us and experience Pura Vida!
The Reserve Costa Rica Difference
At The Reserve Costa Rica we’re on a mission to make your vacation a dream vacation you will never forget. If you have questions prior to, or during your trip, our staff will be happy to assist you 7 days a week. During your stay, our English and Spanish speaking property manager is on site and available for whatever you might need.
Daily housekeeping is available for 5 or more days of stay. Our cleaning staff is only Spanish speaking but property management can assist you if you have questions or need something.
Going Green
The Reserve Costa Rica prides itself on being as green and eco friendly as possible in an effort to help preserve the environment and beauty that brings you to Costa Rica. We provide 100% luxury organic shampoos, lotions, body wash and hand soap hand made from a local Costa Rican company. The bath and beauty products come in beautiful reusable and refillable containers that are made from 100% post-consumer recycled eco-bottles made BPA-free with compression molding and utilizing oxo-biodegradable plastic.
Our Villas have solar panels to help reduce our carbon footprint on the world. Solar panels reduce air and water pollution and produce clean, renewable electricity for our use.
We have partnered with Green Solutions to provide biodegradable, non toxic and environmentally friendly cleaning products that we use to clean all our Villas and for our laundry services. Free of contaminants, this not only helps provide a healthy safe environment for our guests and their families, but also helps ensure water conservation.
Eating
A complimentary snack is provided to you in the Villa for your arrival. Once you have had a chance to relax from your long flight there will be time to venture out to one of the local grocery stores or dining establishments. There is a small local grocery store just 3/4 of a mile from the Villa or a larger grocery store approximately 5 miles in the town of Jaco. There are several great little places to eat, next to the beach in Playa Hermosa as well as a large number of dining establishments in Jaco and the surrounding area. Looking for something special? Just ask us! Like to BBQ, no problem. Our Villa is equipped with a propane gas grill clean and ready for your use. Don’t want to cook at all? Hire a Chef for your stay. We have several for you to choose from.
Getting here
San Jose airport is around 90 minutes away from the town of Playa Hermosa / Jaco. Shuttle services to and from the airport to our homes are available upon request. Rental cars are available at the airport, as well as in Jaco. Additionally, local driver services are available for an extra fee.
Animals on the property
Wild animals come to the properties so please, for your safety and theirs do not feed or attempt to touch them. We like to keep them as dehumanized as possible. Enjoy their visits but keep your distance as wild animals are unpredictable.

Deposits
- 20% deposit for all reservations.
- Refundable after check out if the property did not suffer any damage, this is under management criteria.
- For cancellation scenarios please refer to the section below.
Cancellations
- 100% refund if canceled 30 days or more prior to arrival. The deposit is non-refundable.
- 50% refund if canceled between 14 and 30 days prior to arrival. The deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival: The reservation may be rescheduled once, within a 6-month time frame.
- Cancellation after a rescheduled booking: No refund or further rescheduling will apply.

- Pets allowed on case-by-case basis.

- No indoor smoking. $500 penalty if so.

Payment Schedule:
10% due at time of booking. Remaining balance: Due 14 days in advance
Cancellation Policy:
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.
If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in.
No refund after that, but deposit can be applied to future dates.
Damage deposit:
A refundable damage deposit of $200 (USD) is due.
